Diffraction does not collect personal data. No data is ever sent to me or anyone else.
When using the color sampler tool the operating system might ask you to allow screen recording. No screen recording is actually done. Diffraction is only accessing the screen to display the color sampling loupe and to sample the color of an arbitrary screen pixel.
